An abandoned Bangkok department store offers a very unusual view – the floor of the shopping center is covered with a thick layer of water, where a large number of catfish, carp and other fish floats.

After closing the store in 1997, it has remained completely arbitrary to this day.

The fact that the building lacks such trifles as the roof has allowed enough water to accumulate to resemble a small lake.

In order to limit the spread of insects, the locals let the fish in.

At the moment, the local government has finally decided to do something about the department store lake, so it has been decided to get rid of the accumulated water.

Along with the watering plan, the city has hired a number of workers whose primary task is to catch all the fish, making this perhaps the strangest gathering of anglers in Bangkok’s history.
